Email Notifications section; I think it would be more friendly to use 'usual English' rather than the tortuous 'legal/marketing/awkward' jargon used here. It's quite difficult to understand what is meant and I really can't see any need for it.
How about:
Clear this tick box if you do not want... yada yada
The Promo Emails bit meets with my approval, you'll be pleased to hear.
