Just had my topic removed

Hi, I posted a topic looking for advice on the photos of my car that I am using in a classified ad and it was removed.

I fully appreciate that you are not allowed to advertise in the forums, and I was just looking for advice on my pictures and the price.

Was my topic removed because I included a price in the post? I didn't post a link to the ad.

Just wanted to clarify where I went wrong, I was only looking for advice as I have never sold a car privately before.

Am I not allowed to post anything in relation to the ad at all, including photos?

Sorry for breaking the rules, I was not looking to plug my ad, honest!

Any "What's it worth" or "Please take a look at my ad" will if it has too much information, prices, or pictures get removed by routine. Unfortunately we get too many unscrupulous posters who just want to push there advert by plugging it in the forums, hence they have spoilt it for others.

If you wish to gauge a response to your asking price then please check out the classifieds for suitable comparisons or put a free ad on to test the water.
