Is this one of the most annoying ways to advertise a car?

Ad price says £250, but it's actually £2500.

I have noticed that AutoTrader has become overrun with stupidly priced ads like these. I didn't realise that PH was also 'infected'!

Another one that annoys me is listing at '150 miles' where it is obviously 150,000 miles. But all of those higher mileage cars slip through the filter of 'max 80k' or similar.

These seem to clog up the classifieds and sometimes it can be difficult looking for something cheap.

I did wonder about doing this (if I had time ). Would be funny to argue the fact that it states £250, not £2500.

It is at least in the right section.

The problem is that PH can't physically check each and every ad so they rely on people reporting iffy ones.

If PH want to charge for all adverts now, then they should be checking all adverts that are placed. The annoying adverts impact on the other paying customers.

We do try and keep the classified section clear of these kind of ads - we enjoy browsing the classifieds as much as everyone, and they don't ad to the experience. Unfortunately, we have so many ads on the site - and so many new ones being submitted - it's impossible to catch them all. However, you can report them to us by clicking the "report to Admin" button on the top-right hand side of every advert. This will alert our moderators and insure the advert is corrected. Anyone (or company) found to be a serial offender, will be warned.

I think the PH policy for things like this should be to multiply the price by 100 and multiply the mileage by 10000, they would soon stop doing it.
