It's music, it's in a music forum. Is Glastonbury a TV festival? Nope, its a music festival.

I'm watching it on TV (but I didn't move the thread) but I'm sensible enough to look for Glastonbury topics in the music forum. I'm all for acting on complaints, but is this really hard to grasp? I can't see it myself

My +1 wasn't for the TV vs music debate, it was regarding the overzealous moderation comment. Apologies if that's OT.

Perhaps I should start an "Are we not allowed a good, old-fashioned rant anymore" thread?
But I'm not one to complain (much), so I shan't bother.

I see both points of view.

Thing is, people want to chat about what's on TV, so that's the forum they look in.

If the programme were about the space shuttle launch, would it be moved to BP&T?

All Glastonbury topics should be in music IMO, it's festival related around a musical subject. No brainer

Other topics may stay in TV but Glastonbury is all about the artists, the bands and ultimately the music

Apart from dramas, most TV content is about some non-TV subject so could easily be put in an alternative forum.
What gets shifted seems to be rather random and arbitary.

Well into this thread, there was a fine, good old-fashioned rant with much cursing and vitriol.
Subsequent posters (myself included) agreed with the rant and applauded the comments. The rant was then binned.

If queue jumpers can't be on the receiving end of a PH ra-ra, what purpose do we serve?
