Single issue posters

Is it desirable or aprropriate to have people sign up to post in a single, non-motoring thread and contribute nothing else to PH?

There are several in that absurd 286 page thread about the McCanns, the latest of whom has 38 posts, all in that thread.

It's not a huge deal, so long as they're civilised, and some have started as single issue posters and have been sucked in. So, as long as they don't break the rules they can stay.

That said we tend to give far less leniency to our less PH members.
