Now... is this 450 000 or 450 customers?

Depends on where you are reading that from. If you read it from the US or the UK, then they have 450 customers. If you are reading it from Europe (or at least France or Spain) then they've got 450000 customers...

Most european countries use a . instead of a , to seperate thousands. And yes, they also use a , instead of a . for a decimal place.

Sometimes - I've seen it in Switzerland - the thousands are shown in a smaller font with no . or , Don't know how to show it here.

Ze continentals use the point instead of the comma, and the comma to seperate decimals.
