Posting an advert on behalf of someone

Is that "allowed"? A friend of mine has a battered old ZX to sell but she's a bit "internet-averse".

Any problems with me posting an ad for her? I guess any PM contact will have to come to me, but I'm happy to forward that on (and make it clear in the advert).

Our rule is three adverts every three months, but since you've come to us before hand I'm sure we could bend the rules to allow four if needed.

How does it work if the ad appears as a private sale then turns out that the seller is selling on behalf of a friend since the seller is in the trade and that the sale would be buying from the seller (trader) and not the owner.

Sounds and looks like a trade sale (assuming that the V5 trader section has been filled out) but sounding very odd.

Not really trader material It's also my first ever ad on PH (I haven't had a car myself for a few years now)

On the wider point, though, I imagine one could only "get away" with that the once anyway (maybe twice depending on the likelihood of the prospective buyer alerting PH).

It's precisely why I asked in the first place, and made it clear in the ad that it was on my girlfriend's behalf.

(ETA - well, friend at the time, now my girlfriend. Not because of the PH ad, I should stress )
