Facefirst moderation - what is going on?

I honestly don't know where to start with what is happening on the climate change threads.

Firstly, the appointed mods are partisan (one even followed me to another forum), they post insults directed at me, and are demonstrable unable to be balanced and unbiased.

Second, my replies keep getting deleted, accompanied by 'hilarious' messages about wanting a fight and stuff like that.

Really, is that the best this site has to offer?

Oh, and as a suggestion, please include in the 'your post has been deleted' message details of what was removed - how I am meant to know what not to say?

Moderation on the thread? We currently have three dedicated moderators on that thread alone, if you do not like the way the thread is being moderated then I suggest you avoid it and not participate.

We have received a good number on reports on this thread recently not only from you but many others, the thread moderators are activity trying to keep the thread clean and enjoyable, if posts get removed they are for a reason, so accept it.

Any post that is removed will usually automatically send an email to the poster giving reasons for removal.

So the thread is being moderated and very well from our perspective.

I should add that we have had many discussions about whether the thread should remain open, it was felt by Haymarket that it should and seconded in additional members to moderate it.

There does come a point however that when does a thread justify the level of moderation that this one is receiving? I think we both know the alternative.
