I'm on gmail and have checked my spam and other folders - no issue whatsoever with your decision, but for whatever reason I've not got a deletion email.

Other PH emails have come through as normal, including PMs and mailing lists. As an aside, I realise it would have been best not to start such an irrelevant thread in the first place.

Ah Helicopter thread? If it was that one it was considered a dangerous topic to pursue just in case someone did try out any methods discussed.

Mind you a few mods are having similar thoughts losing sleep that way.

Yes, exactly sounds like a bad idea now, just though you should know that no deletion message was recieved- but no worries aside from maybe your systems are not delivering.

FWIW I didn't delete so I can't categorically state that a mail was sent but they usually are by routine.
