Noisy Ads Half Way Down The Page

As per the title really chaps. Every topic i've started reading with my headphones on starts to play an advert by itself, which is getting annoying now. I've had Cillit Bang, Caffiene Shampoo, Glade etc. that is inturrupting my Led Zeppelin .

Is there a way to have them default paused rather than auto-play?
