Can something be done about the fking self appointed repost police please?

If an entire thread is a repost, fair enough, link the original thread, hit report, job jobbed, I have done this myself

But in threads like the Youtube and Sean Connery threads its just pointless, yes people maybe should have checked, but in the Youtube thread it has been solved by titles so now if you have seen it before you dont have to click, with the jokes 40% of the thread if not more is cluttered with these self satisfied tts going, oooh ooh its a repost, then the thread gets derailed

Who the fk cares!! YOU may have seen the clip or joke before, it doesnt mean others haven't and just because you have been here for xx months and have 15k+ posts doesn't mean other people, you know the people who aren't YOU, have seen it before

Please can it just be stopped somehow, you add fk all to the thread apart from to make yourself look like a self important smug prick
