In this case, custard is not a test phrase.
It is a mixture of cu stard which normally be matched with nt and bas respectively to make insults.

I think not.

I vaguely recall that support for ie6 has been phased out because it didn't support many of the new features and was full of security holes.

I think ie7 is that last supported backwardly compatible version now.
(but it may be 8)

Right, of course.
I got that a bit muddled somewhere, sorry about that.

I think it depends on how it was written in 6.
From what I understand some of the later ie versions are less forgiving of sloppy code.
I think it normally it manifests itself with the margins messing up, or nested images creating section breaks instead.
