Smilies showing incorrectly on mobile site

Have noticed this recently, doesn't happen all the time but a fair bit.

Smilies in posts are shown incorrectly. This evening, a was showing as

The most common error is every smiley being shown as the quote image.

Any ideas?

First smiley should be the large smile.

I hate smilies

Sometimes the leaves a "ghost" image of where it started, if that makes sense.


Not the biggest problem in the world though!
