I'll shortly be working on a database upgrade so the GS will be read only for a couple of hours.

If all goes well, you won't notice any difference (!), but if things go tits up I'll have to roll back to this system and some posts will be lost but I think that's fairly unlikely.

May be some teething problems tomorrow morning, so please bear with me.

Cheers all

Yep, everything works
By the way, what is the aim of splitting the link "last 24 hours" into "last 24hrs" and "last 72hrs" ?
Any please?

People that only browse at work miss the whole weekend if they only use 'last 24 hrs'. Now when people come in on Monday, they can review the weekend banter. Good idea innit?

Thom, are you sleepy this morning! Click on them, and you will see, what you mean to me..Ahem! Sorry. Yeah, as I was saying, the Last 24 hours gives threads posted to in the last 24hrs! Last 72 hrs (surprisingly) gives threads posted to in the last 72 hours! Just in case you bugger off somewhere and need to know whats been happening while you;ve been away! Me thinks!

Ooo Eer Ted! A few changes a foot I see! Detailing exactly when you are looking at in the last 24hrs page, no adds on the 'back to forum' page! Any more plans for the future?!

I experienced this when opening 'In the News'.
It was on top of the blue bar, and only two threads appeared on this page.

Ted, what about this one?
It appeared, when trying to do anything on PH.

I assume, you've been fixing above errors?

I have understood:
When you are not logged in, the old "last 24hrs" link appears and it doesn't work (of course because of the changes)
When you are logged in, the new links "last 24/" and "72hrs" appear

Can this help you Ted?

Thanks guys. A few teething problems it would seem and the silly sod on 24x7 support was asleep

Thanks for your emails - the details provided will help me sort things out a lot quicker.

The In The News section is now running ok but is there a time delay on posting new topics? Or is it that they will be posted after you sort out the teething problems?

Ignore my question - the mice in my computer are on slow down Friday so it took a while for the new topics to show up.

Sorry for any wasted time.
