New Classifieds - Hit or Miss!

I know it's early doors but I'm interested to see what people think of the new classifieds!

Old one back ! at the moment the actual model tags don't take me to the section e.g if I click on "M5" it doesn't recognise as a button/hyperlink..... this is the same on the Mac and other Mac Book

Why don't we give the team time to iron out the teething problems first?.

I think it'll be much improved over the old classifieds once it's stable.

I like the look of it etc, But it just doesnt work, keeps making my browser lock up and the add I put up yesterday evening still cant be seen by anyone but me, Handy that.

I reckon by the end of the month, once all new ads are submitted with the new filters in mind, it will be running smoother. I hope so anyway!

Once things are ironed out it will be much better. From what I've read, it has to be up for around 30 days before all the old style adverts die-off so to speak and the search functions will work fully.

People are fickle and short sighted though.

whilst visully it looks better than the old style, and the option bars/fields at the top will be handy to use, i just cant get it to work well, everytime i change a field it takes an age to refresh and has on 3 ocasions crashed the web explorer.
its not down to the pc/web speed as im on the works internet that is lightning and a 2week old PC.

true as some say once the teething issues are sorted out we will more than likely be singing its praises.

but until then i'll be avoiding it as its giving me minor moments of PC rage as its taking so long and crashing!!!

Epic fail... Trying to be far too clever, If I want a car I will look at it, I don't need to search by engine size or interior colour!

Why not leave the classifieds as they were, but with a few more divisions of popular cars into Marks, ie Escorts into 1&2 , 3&4 etc as an example,instead of having to wade through hundreds of cars to find the mark you are after? Have the new search feature as a side bar, so people can filter to their hearts content whilst keeping the beautifully simple classifieds format that has worked so well for so long?

Look at the autotrader website, it is terrible, slooooow, full of crap & unusable, since they changed it I never use it.

this is why i came back on to the forum really (god i have been busy the last year.. - nowt to show for it though )

what the hell has happened. aprt from being over the top..it plain doesn;t work. one minute it finds something the next it says there are no cars like that..
