NEW PH CLASSIFIEDES SITE- COMPLETELY AWEFUL

I have been a member for a while and have always liked browsing, and buying off the PH site...the updated classifiedes section is completely aweful.....the last one was nice and simple to use...it now is way too complex, and I get completly fed up selecting this or that!!

For gopodness sake go back to the old site, and get your money back from whoever designed it............

Agreed - if we wanted auto trader (although this is worse than auto trader) we would go there!

Hmmm, I agree that the simplicity has gone, however if you're browsing in an area with lots of cars it has some pretty powerful search criteria selection...

Choose a well known swedish car manufaturer
and a model
It comes up with results by latest first
Change that to price low to high
and nothing happens
Is there a missing button to click somewhere?

I agree, much prefer the old classified ads section. New one is rubbish.

Selecting the options to get extra search criteria boxes, why? And they all move around confusing you when you choose them! aaarrggghh then you have to click how many views per page - why? You have delete the models you don't want as opposed to select the ones you do - why?


Overly complicated for sure - own up who at PH towers thought it was a good idea to sign it off???? it is awful is'nt it. My bet is the person who designed it has never bought a car from the classifieds before?



Just tick boxes is all you need, please before you go changing stuff ask us its not difficult is it?

Well, the new classifieds isnt all bad...... My work rate has now gone up by a 100% and my wife is loving the extra attention she gets of an evening.
Stopped using Autotrader when they changed their site, and really lost all enthusiasm for the PH Classifieds now..... After buying (and selling) every car i have owned in the last 5 years via PH!
Browsing classifeds on my I-pad of an evening used to be bliss, now i simply CBA.

doesnt seem any more difficult than the old system to me. you can use it exactly thensame as the old system, just scroll down to the model and select??? if you want to use the extra functionality thats ther as well

Can they atleast give us the option of "switch to classic view" so I we so wish we can browse like old times?(when It actually worked on a iPhone)

Time will tell. I don't like it personally, but if the usage figures plummet, the old format will be reinstated PDQ I suspect.
