Quoting/viewing posts

A couple of other forums I'm on show a mini-version of the thread you're replying to or quoting, just next to the window where you type your reply.

This would be very handy when replying to/quoting posts on PH - saves opening another window and maybe would cut down on nested quotes - I know I sometimes use the quote function only because I need to refer to what someone else has posted.

Apologies if this has been suggested before.

P.S. I'm not a website/forum wizard so don't know if I'm suggesting the impossible. If it's just a question of getting some specially trained attack hamsters, I know someone who may be able to help!

So delete the bits you've used but no longer need before you press 'Submit'.

This works but I haven't yet mastered quoting from more than one post.

I was posting on another forum which I very occasionally use, and thought how useful it could be on here. Also thought I might not be the only one.
