Not really.. Having upgraded stereo in a car is a perfectly normal want..

Covering an asthmatic hatchback in fibreglass addenda and fitting the contents of Rockford Fosgate's warehouse in the boot is another matter..

I would agree - one of the first things I tend to think about after choosing a car is if I can live with the existing stereo and speaker set up. Only because for some strange reason I can't get my head around doing something that would add weight to the car have I not changed the set up in the 968.

No shame in having a good ICE set up in your car at all, when the car becomes a mere transportation device for the ICE, then you might have taken it a little too far
