Its entirely possible not to be angry when using these words, however the smiley makes it look like they're being used in anger. Can we not just word filter swears so we see f**k instead of f
k ?
I prefer to self censor specifically to avoid mr angry censor smiley, is it ok that I do this? I.e. f-ck sh-t etc.

As for evading the swear filter, I'm not evading it. If I were sticking tags in the middle of swear words to make them appear uncensored that'd be evading it, all I'm doing is applying my own filter.

I would think that most people would be able to guess what you are trying to say when the

Applying your own filter is the same thing imho, I don't really see what the issue is with just letting the software auto filter for you.

I have to say that I agree with the OP in that swaring, like it or not, is part of out day to day language these days and you will hear it from almost everyone who isn't still trying to live in some recreation of the early C20th.I would think that most people would be able to guess what you are trying to say when the
smilie has been appliedAs such, like with much of our fair language, intonation and tone are all, especially with words that can be taken by some to be offensive. I therefore agree it would be nice if it were possible to chose to use a 'happy' censored smilie, but then again i can just add

I would suggest that 'evading the sware filter' is about when you type so as to show the intended word in its full glory (the issue it is intended to stop) rather than that rather fetching B

All of the above said in the great scheme of things i really couldn't give a
