Seems to be a lot happening today.

Normally happens when there is a "PH borked" message, and people refresh their page, or go back and resubmit. Normally the message has gone through if you check it.

It's not strange, it often happens. It's as if the first message is posted and when you log back on it posts at a different time. You also get this double post in different forums.

If you mean that a member has posted the same thread in more than one forum? then that's a as cross posting is not allowed under the rules of posting.

I think he means when replying to a thread the post can be posted twice, sometimes in a totally different thread?
Though that doesn't explain it very well.

That has happened to me before, but I figured I was just not taking any notice where I was.

That's the thing Al it's not intensional to post in two different forums, it just happens. I can post in computers and find I've also posted the same thing in Cerbera. It's as if it's stored somehow and when you move to the second forum it posts. I've deleted more than half a dozen double posts by editing the text. I'll email you when this happens again.

Can't say I've come across any unintentional cross forum posts, but that's not to say it doesn't happen as you've explained, I'll flag up this post for the techy guys to ponder.

BTW I think I've sorted all the ones so far reported. guys.

It has happened to me, I put it down to me being a 'tard/ drunk.
Buti think I've seen a case of this happening to someone recently, will flag it up if I remember where it was.

It happened when someone was trying to post on the CV thread, but it ended up somewhere else. Can't remember what thread it was on.
