So which bright spark has signed Pistonheads up for these new banner adverts?

It's the usual 'You are our 100,000 visitor!!!!, claim your free iPod/PS3/Laptop now!!!'

Not really in the Pistonheads spirit now is it.

We have some external advert networks serve some ads to our users (though a large amount of our ads are for other Haymarket brands (Whatcar, Autosport etc)) so it's possible it's us. But very unlikely

You may have some malware that's subverting your browsing though.
