You mean like anyone under 25?

I think there are only two children on here and you wouldn't notice they were kids from the general nature of their posts and quality of their grammar and spelling.

Maybe just a "half term section" that people get moved to if they only ever post in the daytime, during school holidays...

We'd read "their" stuff and they would read "ours" - there is no point.

Why not just integrate with all ages nicely and post on the basis that younger members might be reading? If they integrate in return then that's great, if they act like asses then they get thrown to the lions like usual.

I would have loved to have access to a resource like PH when I was a young enthusiast years from being old enough to drive legally.

I agree.
There's plenty of daft post made by older folk and sensible ones made by younger, and any rubbish usually gets reported and cleared up by the mods.

Would the adult PH have more uncensored swearing and sex just because we can (I'm looking at you, Torchwood!) and the junior one can be full of stupid banners/signatures/avatars?

Edit: I mean I agree that it's not necessary

I think the block on swearing and adult pictures and links is banned mainly due to PH not wanting to be blocked from work computers rather than for the sake of children reading.
It's the parents responsibility to know what their children are viewing not PHs.
Plus as mentioned some of the information on here would be useful to a young petrolhead.

How would living with parents affect someones opinion? Not everyone can afford to move out. And yes this includes myself. The sites main point is an interest in vehicles. An opinion can still be respected even if the member hasn't yet been able to afford to move out of their parents home. I can't even see a problem with juniors having access to the full forum. I know some of the content is a little mature but there are much worse things they can find on the internet. I suppose there could be a minimum age for the lounge if anything was to be done. But then again if it's not broken why fix it?

Indeed, read a post of his in the school car thread.
Punctuation and grammar better than most on here.
