first off, apologies for missing that rule, didn't check i'd scrolled to the bottom of the box! though I think its a very odd one - whats the reasoning behind it?

where CAN I post it safely? I'd love to get a good turn out for the event and its a little frustrating that most South Wales members may not see it if I just post it in events?

also any way I can retrieve the text from the post? it was the first i'd posted and clicked back on to copy-paste it into word for posting elsewhere and BAM GONE, half hour of writing down info gone in the blink of an eye!

You have mail with the text from your post.

I'm afraid that there isn't an area on PH for posting about charity events. I'm sure you can understand that with the number of members we have, the forums would be deluged with threads of that nature..

Feel free to make contact with Garlick if you'd like to discuss things though.

Thankyou so much for recovering the text - I'll PM Garlick now as its definitely a car-related event and something I've had a good response about so far!
