Request for Book recommendations area

Having recently got a kindle and looking for books on the amazon store, I thought I'd look for some recommendations. My first thought was to try my friends on pistonheads and they must have a tab for book recommendations, but surprisingly no.

I think it would be a good idea for a new area.

Exactly as above. There is Books - what you reading? this thread right here...

The creation of another area is normally contingent on it swamping another forum already (Subaru forum being a good example. It was occupying a lot of the Jap Chat).
Rather than create a new forum for a niche topic we'll wait for it to start impinging on the use of another forum for its intended general purpose.
