Login PH front page

There's a bug with the main page, it says you're not logged in but when you click it, it says "hi <username>) but when you go back to the main page it still says log in.

I'm always logged in, i don't have to log in when i click it, IMHO it's a website issue.

I've noticed this. I did get it show that I was logged in on the homepage last week but can't remember how (without logging in there too).

We know about this.
It's because the front page is a static page (ie not generated every time you look at it)

At the top it tells you when it was last updated. It gets updated each time a new story is posted. That's why it doesn't tell you if you're logged in and all the other pages do.

Changing the top part is in the list of things to do. Just not very high up it.
