In addition to having a chimaera (four and a bit years now and still loving it) I have added a ZX6R to my collection of toys.

Is there any room for motorcycle gassing? I'm sure I can't be the only TVR owner that has a motorcycle as a second toy.

How about it PetrolTed?

Recovery racing.....urm urm.... how about Rossi at the British GP last year. 16th after the start and then recovered to win by 6-8 secs which could easily have been more. Awesome.

Bayliss on Saturday was equally stunning. I was at Luffields and could see him trying to keep hold of the throttle to keep it going as he went into the gravel. He then sat there digging out the gravel to get to it.

It is a contentious issue though as he should under the rules be disqualified. The 'Engine Cut Off' on a Ducati is set to trigger if the bike is on it's side for more than 10 seconds, which it was on Saturday. It managed to keep going somehow and therefor we were treated to that awesome display.....

I was cold, wet and grumbling about the poor treatment bike fans get at the hands of Silverstone....until Whitham won !!! I hadn't see Whit win in this country since Cadbury Boost days watching him jump the mountain at Cadwell in simialr conditions at over a foot clearance. Awesome, a hero !!! Made my day, and season !!!

I do not have a bike although this will in time change. I will be seeking advice from you more learned gentlemen. As for watching racing....I do a fair bit. The intiention this year is to get to all the BSB rounds. Done the GP for the last 3 and WSB both rounds for the last 4.

Up for a chat on bike racing anytime, once I have a bike then it'll bike chat aswell.

Cheers

Mark
PS - Ted put the WSB,BSB and GP dates in the calendar for me, so if you go make sure you sign up. I'm the only in there at the moment for all of them I think.

Go endurance racing then !
Most years at Le mans you see bikes totalled then pushed back to the pits by the rider (not allowed outside help till in pit lane) rebuilt and back out in record time.
When I raced in the British Championship we prided ourselves in the fact we could strip every panel and change both wheels in less than 3 minutes (nothing compared to F1 I know but bloody good for bikes) I've also raced an 8hr at Snetterton in the pissing rain when with a grid of 45 starters there were 70 plus "incidents" some bikes and riders had been down 3 or 4 times !!!!! and still finished. Still taking nothing away from Baylis his actions on Saturday were nothing short of miraculous the sheer skill in keeping the engine running was enough.

Windoze XP causes all sorts of trouble when it comes to games. Suggest checking all drivers, direct x (8.1 is latest I think). Also you might be having problems with copy protection. You might need to uninstall your CD writing software or Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) if you've got it. HTH

I was just waiting to see how much interest there was.

If someone can come up with a funky name for the section then I'll add it in
