Classifieds Advert and iPad . . . .????

Just tried submitting an advert in the classifieds using my iPad, all was going well until the upload photos part.

The boxes were grey and I couldn't select them. Is there a way of uploading photos to Pistonheads on an iPad ??

Or will I have to wait until Wednesday when I'm back in the office with my work laptop to complete the advert.

Anyone help?

You can upload photos to PH site using Photobucket (free app in app store) not sure about for ads?

Pretty sure the link where it loads your drive contents wont work. In IE/FF/Chrome etc it loads your 'my documents' folder (or other folder), where as it can't load the same for an iPad.

PH would need an app to access the photos folder.

Unfortunately, you're unable to. It basically comes down to Apple not allowing you to browse the iPad for files to upload.

May have found a way but i keep getting the pistonhead error page.

The iCab app allows me to go to 'manage my add, and allows me to click on select photo, I then can browse my photos that are on my iPad and select one. However when I then go and press the upload button I am presented with the ooopppsss!!! Page.

So not sure if the app is at fault or the pistonhead website???
