I was going to request that one 'segment' of the daily news email is given over to forum news. Could be a thread which is gaining particular momentum or things like the launch of new sections - how will anyone who has their favourite sections programmed know that there's a trucking section now, for example?

But then I thought ... I haven't had a daily news email for a while. Checked my profile and the box is unchecked. Not sure why, so I checked it and saved the changes. It just unchecks itself.

So, have the daily emails been abandoned and, if not, why can't I secure that option? And if they are around/coming back, can there be a forum news section which includes information regarding changes to the forum?
