To put up a topic on readers' cars about a car that will be up for sale shortly?

I don't want to be seen to be drumming up interest for the car, only story telling the journey I have had with it with pictures of before and afters, tribes and tribulations as a fan of cars...I had to wait to take pictures of the car (sunny day required) to match a piece I had written up (before an opportunity came up that would require some extra funds), but I feel that I could easily end up becoming 'That Guy'!

What is the general consensus even though I think I already know?

Cheers

It all depends in how much it looks like an advert, the fact that you have said that it's going to go up for sale shortly would probably make it look even more like a veiled advert so it would more than likely get deleted

Explain the story as normal just dont link it to the classfieds or mention it is for sale in the actual post.

Cheers for the posts...

I reckon i will (to avoid any chance of being labelled a dick cheese burger or whatever) just put up an ad in the classifieds with a bit of the story there...
