if i/can i change my username?

i've done a search but nothing comes up? i've always just used my name as my username, but i've been thinking of changing it to something anonymous for a while.

nothing sinister it's just the more i've mentioned to folks that i post under my real name the more they think i'm nuts what with interweb security & stuff.

do i just go to my profile & type a new name in? keeping all the other details the same?

if i do so will my post count go to zero?

will i no longer get free advertising?

Yes, you can go into your profile and enter a new name, there are restrictions on the characters that can be used though.
No, you won't reset your post count.
