Just a small query.

I occasionally like to poke my head into the Computer Games section of PH, but I struggle to pick my way through anything worthwhile due to the sheer amount of Forza and COD threads. It could just be me, in which case I'll shut up, but what are the chances of either having a sub forum dedicated for Forza and COD PH players, thus reducing the amount of threads in the Computer Games forum or maybe having a couple of sticky threads for them so there isn't the need to make loads?

Nothing against Forza or COD, I just don't play them and anything not related to them tends to get lost in the mix.

I must admit I have stopped visiting that area as much due to the sheer number of these maybe stickies as you say and when a new one comes out it can be added

Same here, was looking for the thread on the newly released Elite Sniper V2. But got fed up when all I saw was forza and COD

I can count 3 Forza threads and one COD thread on the first page currently so it's hardly swamped.
We could however take a look at the number of stickies that already exist and that'd mean more threads on the first page, that might help?

Looking at the age of some of the stickied threads, I think we could afford to drop a few..

It worse due to xbox, ps3 and PC formats all having a thread for the same game.
I tried posting in the BF3 thread for folks to start posts with the format they play on as posts just seemed to run into each other and not knowing who's talking about which format.
Is it possible to have something similar, so less threads are needed?
Just a thought that's all.

Maybe swamped was the wrong word, but there certainly is a few. Obviously this being PH, there are going to be quite a few car based games, but they do have a tendency to crowd the computer games forum. Reducing the amount of stickies could help with that or replace a few of the exisitng stickies with some of the more popular Forza and COD threads?

It's hardly millions, but it does put me off starting game related threads as they just seem to get pushed back to the second page within a few hours. Granted, that shouldn't be an issue if the topic I'm discussing has enough interest, but I tend not to go back more than the second page in most sub forums.


Just my two pennies worth anyway, not a moan, just a query
