Randomly being logged out of PH

You obviously know that PH isn't performing brillinatly at the moment - but is there something in the software that logs you out if for example someone posts a link to another PH Page...

Several times today when using Forefox i've jumped to other PH links that have opened in a new tab for it to show the page with me not being logged in. When I close that tab and return to the original tab and then press the back key, I have to log in to PH again. It seems very odd to me and I don't recall having to do that before.

Does that seem 'normal' to you?

That would drive me nuts. I'm using Firefox and it doesn't do that.

It's because they're linking to many of the other domains that PH owns and points to the servers eg the mobile site. Just log into the other sites and you will be fine in future.

I just tested it using the link in this thread - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... - and it didn't log me out.

Cheers for that Hoofy. Thinking about it the links might have been to mobile PH.. Different cookies I guess.
