Can't post in a thread that I'd already posted in?

Hi, I was posting in this thread http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... trying to help a guy with rear brake problems. He posted some pics & when I tried to reply again I was informed that as I am new I can not post in sp&tl or the lounge (I think) for fourteen days. Fair enough but the thread wasn't in either of those places & I'd already posted in the thread previously, now it must seem as though I'm being rather rude by not replying.

I'm not moaning or anything but is it at all possible that anything can be done?
