Suggestion: Making only the OP's posts visible?

This may have come up before but.........

......would it be possible to introduce a facility where you could only see posts by the OP?

On certain long threads when you are waiting for an OP to return, it can get tedious reading pages of very similar responses referring to kicking back doors or MX5s or Jason's dry cleaning etc.
