PH forums suggestion..
Discussion
Not sure what the rest of you think or if you can help me..
Been on PH for a while now and I have never noticed an 'car audio' section, you have your whole technical section covering everything BUT the audio side of it.
Often see various stereo+audio questions on PH in different sections but surely there should be a home for these questions in the technical section?
Whats your thoughts?

Still, how many subforums can you have before it gets silly?
Well, off the top of me head I know a little car forum that's got:Health
Finance
Gardening and DIY
Politics
Music
Food & Drink
....plus a whole load for TVR whilst there's only one for Porsche and everything French gets lumped in together.

It's been asked many times before.
The usual PH answer is that they don't wish to attract the "look 'ow big me boom-box iz bruv" crowd, especially now that Max Power is no more.
FWIW, I fully agree.
Basically this. The usual PH answer is that they don't wish to attract the "look 'ow big me boom-box iz bruv" crowd, especially now that Max Power is no more.

But of course you can still ask. The Hi-Fi lot might be useful.

What about that guy who turned his Mondeo estate into a two tonne subwoofer, he found his way here. The usual PH answer is that they don't wish to attract the "look 'ow big me boom-box iz bruv" crowd, especially now that Max Power is no more.

In fairness I completely understand the responses in regards to the chavtastic types who ruin everyones commutes by disturbing the peace with the ridiculous amount of noise coming from their stereos.
I posted up a thread in the ford forum a few days ago seeking help setting my Stereo up so that I can plug my iPod in as there is no aux input, really dont want to change the headunit as most aftermarket ones look tat and dont match the interior but I had no responses which is what sparked the idea.
