I HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME POSITION!!!!
I SAW AN ADVERT ON TV FROM CURRIES SAYING THEY WOULD SEEL IT FOR £250!!!!!
WHEN I WENT TO THE STORE THE PRICE HAD CHANGED BACK TO £300 AND THEY REFUSED TO SELL IT AT £250!!
I HAVE NOW DEMANDED MY TV PAY ME £10 IN PETROL COST AS THEY ADVERTISED IT TO ME!!!!!
AS OF NOW MY TV HAS NOT RESPONDED AND I HAVE CONSIDERED SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!!
COMMENTS ARE WLECOME ON MY DILEMMA!!!!!!

Damn right!!! If he was 20 or 22 he would have the right to do this* but at 21?
Not on your f
king nelly.
* Whatever you construe "this" to be. And unless you've left a deposit and have signed contracts with specific non-fulfillment of responsibilities clauses, etc. - Yes he does.
He was going to sell his car, but changed his mind. It's a pisser, but there you go. Maybe someone came along and offered him the money that day. I've sold lots of cars and money in your hand is much better than "I'm definitely coming down tomorrow".

Are you stupid....! Its like, if I agree to buy something on Flee-bay I commit to the seller that I am purchasing it... That's kinda whats happened here, just without the "click to commit" Me and this guy have been arranging it for a few days now and agreed over the phone & in text that I would travel 130miles to pay him & pick the car up!!! SO TELL ME NOW... HOW THIS AIN'T PISTONHEADS PROBLEM!!WHERES MY PROTECTION FOR THE £60 I PAID FOR MY TRAIN TICKET??????
Hint: Pistonheads are just providing hosting for the adverts. The transaction and sale are nothing to do with PH at all.masonmk3 said:

Direct your energy at the seller.

Oooh, ooh, can we keep him? I'll feed him every day!I suspect, if you texted the seller with the same LOONY CAPITALS!!!111! that we're witnessing, he feared for his safety and cancelled the transaction as a result. Just sayin'.
OP, I do realise that it was probably very hard for you to lose £60 of your hard-earned pocket money in this way but you really need to learn the harsh realities of life.
As it's school holiday time I assume that your mum and dad have left you alone with the home computer. You really shouldn't be buying things which you can't afford, especially cars! To drive a car you need something that we adults call a "Driving licence". When you get to 17 years old Daddy will re-mortgage his house in order to buy a poverty spec Vauxhall Corsa which he will have to insure for you so you can then drive to Halfrauds and buy lots of sparkly things to stick on your new car.
But please OP, while you are still looking forward to your 17th birthday, try to learn from this lesson and understand that if you play with the big boys you have to play to their rules!

Sorry to say, there are plenty of morons about, i sold a bonnet and boot lid for 1p each, was gutted, but was willing to go through with the sale as well, they aren't use to me. Buyers both demanded i wrap it for someone to fetch and deliver to them. Nope, not when its listed as collection in person only, i will not spend my dollar to wrap up soemthing they got for free.
Keep looking, good luck next time.
