Can we have somewhere to discuss shares, the markets, currencies etc? I think quite a few PHers in London work in the markets, and the Finance / Business / London forums aren't suitable for these discussions.

Eg, I want to ask the question "why is VIX so low?". Where would you put this? Google it.

And yes I could find another website forum, but I don't want to.

Why would the "Finance" section not suit this?

For some reason Finance is used for pensions, ISAs etc. I remember a thread called "Are there any City traders" or similar a while ago was popular, and I'm surprised more people don't talk about the markets here. Either there's no interest, or we need a new forum title.

I'd like a section on chicken fanciers. I know there may be other forums for this, but I don't want to use them. smile

If you generate an 80-page thread on Chicken Fancying, I will ask for it to be added for you.

I hope that's an FSA regulated smiley?

but in reality anyone with anything qualified to say most likely can't say anything without you reading a disclaimer

Finance or business suit these needs, to split it out of there might make for a quiet forum.
