Any closer to fixing the mobile site??

Hiya,

I get a lot of errors when trying to browse the articles from the front page of PH.

It's been like it for a least a year, but seems to be worse now. Clicking an article from the news, just returns a page of nothing.

It's almost unusable now and very frustrating and the non mobile version is waaaay too busy and hard work for a quick mobile browse.

Is there a fix on the way?

I'm using an iPhone. Forums are fine.

It's bloody annoying and I'm fed up with.

I haven't been able to log into the PH mobile site for months, everytime I log in it takes me back to the log in screen!
Before it did this it usually didn't work anyway.

Using the full site on the mobile is annoying as I have to zoom in all the time, regularly click on the wrong thread or forum.

I'm not one to criticise but it really is crap piece of ste.

We are working on a few things in the background, but honestly, it'll be months rather than weeks. Unfortunately the classifieds project has delayed this, but it is the next thing on the list and we'll be recruiting a test team for this before very long.

I know that it is far from ideal, and it frustrates the hell out of all of us (we're users too don't forget) but it is the next project for the dev team and this won't take anywhere near as long as the classifieds site did as it is a much smaller project.

Yep, unusable. Can't get onto the mobile sight at all!

Just had a look, and mobile site does seem to be borked, but full website at full speed.

If they are links to classifieds on the new site, then temporarily they will deliver the desktop site, rather than a mobile specific one.

I browse using an iPhone and I never use the mobile version because I get logged out of it all the time and keep getting asked to login again... then when I do I just end up right back to the login screen again!!

Anyone have this happen to them?

When I use the 'desktop site' on my phone it generally leaves me logged in for most of a day before booting me out.

Struggling today. It's been OK for a while but it's poor again now.
