Why have I been denied access to the joke thread?

I can view it but if I try to repond to a joke it says I am denied access??

I did but it just said it had been deleted because (shockingly) there was a sweary word in it. So because of that I have restricted access. WTF!

Nope. I don't have an issue with the content.

Are threads only re-actively moderated in response to the report button?

No.

Only asking that as it was raised an issue, did he see fit to report it.

We monitor a lot, but we can't be expected to manually check every post. Users reporting threads is a vital part of how PH works.

TBH I couldn't even remember what I posted when the email came through telling me it'd been deleted and I really wasn't that bothered but restricting me on the thread was a bit petty of you.

EDIT: Just to add, Blib (I think) removed one pic from the photo thread ages ago because it had a swear word in it but I didn't get removed from that.

Perhaps time to review your decision???

As I said above, I dont find the thread offensive, Im an adult and I chuckled at a few too. However as the subject is about swear words in photos circumnavigating the swear filter, I thought it appropriate to bring it to your attention and to mitigate (possibly) the OP's treatment as both the OP and the "Amusing road signs" thread appear to be done in a lighthearted jokey fashion, you guys even censor and Shorpe!!

I see a couple more pics have been added to the aforementioned thread and none of the previous have been removed.

Jesus. Get a life. Sounds like you've let the (moderating) power go to your head.

Talk to Blib, he seems to know how to moderate. I posted a pic on there, didn't understand about the use of swear words and pics and he removed it. I didn't care or really undestand why and that was that. You should have done the same.

Thanks for the advise but we'll moderate the site as we have collectively done for the last 10 years plus.

If you don't like the ban then don't break the rules it really is that simple.

Also if you don't like the moderation on the site then Garlick is your man.
