Subscribing to a thread

Is there a way to subscribe to an exisiting thread to receive notification of replies?

I started a thread and ticked the box and was receiving notifications, however when a notification came through the other day on my iphone, I mistakenly click the unsubscribe link rather than the view the reply link so i no longer get notifications.

Not a massive issue, but just wondered if there is a way to receive notifications on existing threads?

I think if you just reply to the thread again your subscription will re-start automatically.

Tried that, doesn't appear to work just goes in the list of watched topics...
