Well checking back it appears that it was a post regarding support for a charity event, and those are note allowed under the rules of posting.

If a members wishes to raise that type of thread then approval must first be obtained.

If the thread wasn't allowed, how come it was up for the best part of a week?

Al, my dad has gone away for a week so I don't have access to his cars, so won't be able to support the event.
