Over the past half an hour any attempt to load Pistonheads has failed, I've just managed to get back on through a back route through google.

Yep, wouldn't load between 11:50 and 12:05 today, all fine now though.

I wonder if was the high volume of 'lunchtime' surfers appearing?

Glad I'm not the only one who's been experiencing this. Good to see Ted's on top of it already

I'm glad it wasn't just me experiencing problems earlier. I managed to get a reply posted but noticed afterwards that...oh horror of horrors...I had made a "typo" error and try as I might I couldn't go back in to correct it

But at least there was a good excuse!

I've just waited 8 minutes for this page to load up after waiting the same for the main forum page.

I guess it knew I was in a hurry.

I seem to be having some weird intermittant speed probs with the Gassing Station at the mo, the rest of PH loads fine, but Gassing seems to be really flakey..

confuses the hell out of me as whatsnew.asp is my home page, so I keep thinking that my net access has died!

Me too! Thought it was just my wifi connection being a bit flakey, but other sites seem to load up OK.

Same here, 1 meg connection, took nearly 15 minutes to open the gassing station! Looks like you need to pedal a bit faster Ted.

Not sure if it's my end (oooer missus) or your's but sometimes when a forum has new posts and I go in, all the post icons are yellow even though there are new ones, I come out and go back in and they have changed to red, as they should be.

PS. Mozilla Firefox 0.9

I'm still having intermittent problems opening pages in GG, taking a couple of minutes to load.

FYI Ted, I've been having problems for the last couple of evenings. The classified pages are not loading at all well and I keep getting "Runtime Error" messages! What ever they are?

Ive tried both AOL and IE browsers. Both realy slow.

I'm on BB so not used to it taking so long to load things

Paul.

I've noticed on XP SP2 if the (default) popup blocker is on, the top forum page refreshes over and over...

Allow popups for the site and all is fine.

Very odd.
