Strange glitch in the gassing station

Hi Ted,
had a strange one lately. If you visit a topic with 20 entries, it tells you there is a second page, which will be blank.

(I did consider repeating this 19 times, just to show you, but I guess you can see this when you check it out.)

not neccesarily so - just visited 'french jokes' it had 21 posts, though 2nd page was totally empty.

Happens all the time for me - nothing to do with the number of posts though - it's down to the amount of space the posts use.
The automatic page generation software generates the new page & links when the old page is full, but before anything is written to it, as far as I can see

I experienced that a few times for the last weeks.
Seems that software couldn't decide to establish a second page

Same problem - but vice versa:

I posted to a topic which had 7 pages, and me post did not appear!

Later, I discovered, that there are 8 pages, and my post four times.
Thought everything was okay, but later it showed again only 7 pages.
