Big Al, I was hoping Garlick would respond in my "Private plate thread closed" thread, but he can't do that if you close it, can he?
Whether the original thread should have been closed or not is debatable, but there is no justification at all for closing my thread.

As I stated in my closure comment on the thread, if you have a problem with moderation then you need to address your concerns to him via directly.
Your website thread IMHO gave you the answer you required to act further if you wished, individual thread closure are usually closed for good reason, that particular thread was just going down hill and was again IMHO rightly closed.
BTW if you wish to highlight any thread closed or running the report button on the thread still works, that will automatically send a thread report to the mods forum to bring it to there attention.

The original thread had the makings of a PH classic; OP slags off private plates and on another thread it turns out he enquired about getting one!
I've been here since this were all fields, and these types of thread were once the lifeblood of PH. If we don't allow frivolous banter, we'll just end up with threads discussing whether Porsches should have diesel engines or not.
