Hello Mods/Admin, if at all possible could the following message please be placed/moved into speed/plod/law section within the thread titled "Need help with a serious situation"

I am a LONG time reader of these fine forums and reading your thread prompted me to register!
I have been enduring something very similar to your thread, ending with a near broken (once happy) marriage and two children we will never see again.
Where children are concerned you are GUILTY before innocent I was told this in front of many witnesses. Social workers and children's services make the third Reich look like the green party.
They have demonstrated this by forcing your Wife into signing a "written agreement" already. No doubt they convinced her by not doing this she would be in trouble. I will keep this as short as possible as a motoring forum is not the right place for this.
They are all about divide and conquer, ANY and ALL future contact with social workers make sure you and your Wife are seen both together NEVER separate. They WILL lie, bully, backtrack and try to intimidate you. NEVER sign anything without getting legal advice first. They will make the most trivial of things into something that suits their agenda.
If possible record any conversations with them at your home. Audio/video I am not too sure on the legality of one party consent? or take written notes and ask them to sign it.
If you do manage to get legal assistance try your best to get someone from outside the area who does not have dealings with your areas children's services dept.
Yes obviously there are good and bad people in all professions but when you hear people call the police certain names for acting in a certain manner, children's services are a whole new level. Even if the police say there is no case to answer that does not mean the end of children's services involvement. Remember it is easier for them to target the hard working honest law abiding decent people than go after the real abusers. I once had a conversation with a police officer who himself and his family had dealt with social workers, and even he called them scum.
