Loyal member account deleted

Hello guys,

Experiencing problems with the classified section. Been a loyal member since about 2006-2007 and put up a car a month ago and put up my VXR a week ago but my account has completely disappeared.

Was only logged into it a couple of days ago to take off the previous car and to submit the advert for my VXR. Had a email off pistonheads to say my advert has been approved but it would not let me log in. Sent off a 'forgotten password' email but I got no email. (though I know the password is right)

Just had a read of the FAQ's and it says to re-register with the same details and all the previous account managing details should show up. But they haven't.

Wondering if my account has been deleted or if it is something to do with the new update to the site.

I have just re-registered with the email, but I want the account back what I have used for the past 6 or so years.

In same position and have an active advert that needs updating!

Again loyal member, tried to register with email address but doesnt show my car advert - nor can I do anything from the old classifieds.

Hello,

Both of you - your login name is the same as your forum name. Both of your accounts have ads associated with them. If you're missing a specific ad, let me know the advert ID and I'll get you sorted.

Hello Matt, thanks for the reply.

That is strange, i guess it is to do with the site update as i use to login in with my email address. The ad i deleted off is back on and the ad i submitted off to PH has disappeared.

Could you please revive the ad i made up and sent off to you the other day. Reference is 793376.

Hi Matt,

I had to reset my password to let me in under my old username and seems to be working fine now thanks.

Just a quick note.

I didnt do the phonesafe on the original ad - then udpated it today. Its pulled through onto the main advert ok, but the summary still has private number displayed and hasnt pulled through.

Not sure if its a bug etc
