Problems uploading photos onto classified ad

I have been trying to upload pics onto ad for a couple of hours with no joy. Is there a problem?

Make sure you only submit via the beta site. The old ones broken.

Well I can only access the beta site, don't seem to be able to access the old one. Won't upload onto Beta....

Can an admin have a look and check? Positive I am doing it right. Have managed to upload 3 so far, out of 12, that has taken best part of 3 hours!

That's strange. So you've got 3 up, but can't put the 4th... is it just slow, does it give an error, or does it just do nothing?

What browser are you using and have you tried another?

using Firefox. It is painfully slow, managing to get one extra up intermittently and saving ad as I go, so slowly getting more up, but it is well slow. No error messages, no indication of pics uploading or not, don't want to navigate away once i have selected a pic to upload but can see no sign of whether it is uploading????

This might be obvious, but I have to ask... how large are the images?

Around 3mb each

LOL, maybe I should have thought of reducing them.......they are under the limit though...

It seems to work for me.

Two things you can try.

1) Reload the page and try again. You won't lose any images that are already uploaded.
2) If you know how to disable flash within your browser, do that. A different image uploadeder will be shown to you instead of the current one.

Resized pics to smaller and OK now, obviously the site was struggling with the size....

Ah, excellent

Not so fast....
Now I can't update the ad without paying - it won't recognise my membership status despite the fact I am logged in the same as I was for initial ad.
Also, apparently I have 2 profiles that need merging as only one links to my forum profile - drop me an email if you can resolve this too.
