Flash adverts killing Chrome ?

I've just had to install AdBlock Pro in Chrome because I was unable to reply to a thread due to the flash advert that appeared above the text input. This ad caused my Chrome browser (Version 22.0.1229.79 on Ubuntu) to lock up. Once I installed the ad blocker, everything returned to normal, with the added benefit (for me, not so sure it is good for PH though) of no more annoying adverts.
