Login to forum fine...but Classifieds No

[0to60]

Hi, I can login to forums (obviously as I'm typing here) however using my username or email does not work for classifieds.

Appears you don't have an account. Or at least an account with the same e-mail address tied to your forum account.

As far as I know, the forum and classifieds accounts are seperate.

tried to login ,but says my account already exists ,but still cannot login.

so basically after the new classifieds were started you have to re-register a seperate thing for classifieds?

Before I used to just use the same username and login

Even on the old classifieds the accounts were seperate - even if you used the same email address.

Its just strange though that neither username or email add works to log in to what I could log into before...I can only log into forums and that's all

Same problem here, tried resetting my password via the link Matt has suggested, but I don't receive an email! If it makes any difference, this will be the first time I have used the classifieds to sell, so have never had a classifieds account.

In that case you'll need to register for a classifieds account.

I can't, or not using my PH login details as it says user exists, although thinking about it, I may have put an advert up 10 years ago, but can't really remember!
How long should it take to get an email from the password change request? Am I just being impatient, been waiting 30/45 mins now, and have requested one from both my username and email address?

It's not just the classified, I cannot log in to the mobile site at all, but when I switch to the full site I get straight in. It's been like this for months, sometimes the mobile site is fine, but more often than not, it's useless.

This I.T bod is not very impressed at all.

Ah, you can't register a username that already exists in the forum.

If you register as your e-mail address I can change the username for you.

Done, worked using my email that my PH account is linked with, so if you could change the username to the same as this one, that would be great!
