Keyword text box in Classifieds

If you change the "sort by" option in the Classifieds results, when the page refreshes the keyword box becomes active.
A pretty normal behaviour after changing the Sort By option is to want to skip down (say you're ordering low-high price, and want to skip the inevitable adverts at £100) but the Page Down/Page Up buttons don't work because the text box is active.
Can this be changed?
